The Story

The journey behind the music

Andromeda Dunn didn’t choose music. Music chose her — and held on through decades of notebooks, lost lyrics, and a life that refused to fit neatly into anyone else’s box.

Raised in the 80s and 90s in a world that didn’t yet have language for what she was living, she spent years navigating identity, difference, and survival without a map. Andromeda Dunn is her own name — no stage name anymore, nothing to hide behind.

Her sound is emo and alt-rock with emotional honesty at the core: guitar-driven, big choruses, stripped-down bridges, built from the same DNA as All Time Low, Waterparks, My Chemical Romance, and Breaking Benjamin. Genre is the vehicle, not the destination.

Her debut album, Pretty, Broken Thing, is ten songs chosen for one reason: they’re the truest things she’s written.
